We work with bitter orange oil from several countries. The oil, obtained from cold pressing of the peel, presents a yellow-orange appearance and a thin consistency. This oil has a citric, sweet and spicy aroma and has been used in various segments of the industry, especially in food, perfumery, cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients. Research indicates that it is also effective against ulcers and gastritis, because in addition to promote healing of the tissue, the bitter orange oil still promotes a protective effect on the gastric mucosa.
